1. Free adventure tours

Discover priceless artefacts, artworks and animals – and that’s just the ones starting with the letter ‘A’. 11am-11.45am weekdays, from 13 to 24 January.

2. The magical Mitchell

Count the ships on the oversized marble version of the Tasman Map, and have your photo taken in the magnificent Harry Potter-style reading room.

3. The Family Room

Drop in and enjoy books, toys, puzzles and dress-ups. Look out for the cheeky budgies and see if you can find the secret Library mouse house. This space is specifically for preschoolers!

4. Treasure chest

Play a game of I Spy in the Collectors’ Gallery — it’s stacked with thousands of fascinating treasures from the Library’s underground stacks.

6. Drop-in Activity Centre
