Raise a reader

We’re encouraging all young readers to get lost in the wonder of stories.

As soon as a child steps inside a library, they’re free to read, think, create, explore, relax and play.

We’re encouraging all young readers to get lost in the wonder of stories.

It’s no secret that reading improves vocabulary, develops a child's imagination and teaches children about the world around them.

The State Library and public libraries offer a range of fun and engaging activities designed around the discovery and enjoyment of books and reading.

Join your library free of charge and raise a reader.

Look up your public library on the map and check their website for storytime sessions and other preschool activities.
