Collect personal photos or images accessed through the Internet to represent the places you have holidayed. Complete Table 1. You will notice that an example has been provided for you in the first line.

Locating places that I have holidayed
Plot the places where you have holidayed onto the map in the download resource. You could also use a map on scribblemap

Countries students in our class have travelled to on holidays
Survey the class – where have your classmates holidayed?
On a world map, make a tally of the different countries students have travelled to for holidays. Analyse the results:
- What is the most visited country by people in our class?
- What is the second most visited country by people in our class?
- What is the third most visited country by people in our class?
- What countries have not been visited by people in our class?
As a class, discuss the reasons why students visit the most visited countries and why they do not visit the least visited countries.
