The Diary Files go live

The Library has a long tradition of collecting diaries — from First World War soldiers to famous literary figures like Miles Franklin. Now we want your diary entries to become part of the collection.

The Diary Files is a new online community experience created by our DX Lab to collect the thoughts and reflections of the people of NSW and beyond who are living through the Covid-19 pandemic.

Well-known friends of the Library have already begun to share their diary entries: artist Wendy Sharpe, award-winning author Tony Birch, media identities Gretel Killeen, Tim Ross and Patrick Abboud, and actor and writer Michelle Law.

The Diary Files is proudly supported by ABC Radio Sydney. They’ll be featuring some of your entries as part of their project This Moment in Time.
