You asked, we delivered – improvements to printing & scanning

We've introduced improvements to our printing and scanning services.

Free scanning is now available on all self-service printers in the Reading Rooms.

You will need a Library card or a copy card to use the self-service printers on both floors of the Governor Marie Bashir Reading Room and in the Special Collections area of the Mitchell Library Reading Room. Please speak to staff before copying material from the Library's special collections.

Documents can be scanned in colour or black & white, in A4 or A3 sizes. You can then send scanned files to your email address, or save to your USB stick.  Please keep in mind that copyright restrictions still apply.

Double-sided printing

To reduce paper usage and encourage more people to take advantage of this service, we have reduced the price of double-sided printing and copying by 25%.

Black & White

$0.40 $0.30

$2.40 $1.80

$0.60 $0.45

$4.00 $3.00

Please speak to Reading Room staff for assistance using these services.

You can print or copy Library material provided you meet  Australian Copyright Act 1968 requirements and any special requirements that may apply to original, unpublished or culturally sensitive materials.
