The Library Bar

The State Library’s hidden rooftop bar.

The Library Bar is located on the rooftop of the historic Mitchell Building, includes indoor and outdoor spaces, and features unique views across to the Harbour and city skyline.

The Library Bar is available for private events only outside of the bar opening hours of Wednesday to Saturday 4pm to late.

For bookings of up to 60 guests while the Library bar is open, please contact the Library Bar team at library.bar@sl.nsw.gov.au. Smaller reservations can be booked online via the Library Bar website.
