Palm Beach 1945

By Adrian Feint

Adrian George Feint was born in 1894 in Narrandera, New South Wales. In 1912 he entered the Sydney Art School where he studied under Julian Ashton and Eliot Gruner. 

He worked for Sydney Ure Smith publishing and was an accomplished engraver and etcher. Feint was best known for his graphic design talents, producing book plates and designs for private press books.

This view of Palm Beach looks south towards Cabbage Tree Boat Harbour and Little Head. It depicts the southern end of Palm Beach and ocean baths, with a camping area, tents, and caravan in the foreground. Little Head and Bangalley Head are visible in the background.
