View of part of Woolloomooloo and Mr Barker’s house and mills with Bradleys Point 1844

George Peacock made many views of the villas and vistas around Darlinghurst. In this painting, which exists in multiple versions, he looks down the ridge of Darlinghurst and across to the North Shore. In the centre are the two flour mills of Thomas Hynde and Thomas Barker, situated near the villa of Craigend.
