Grab a cup of tea and join us as Aura shares the fascinating backstory of her delightful book Bowerbird Blues!

 Learn more about her creative process, see additional artworks and discover how she finds inspiration for her award-winning picture books.

Aura Parker is the author and illustrator of seven picture books and received the Children's Book Council of Australia Notable award, as well as and the Speech Pathology Book of the Year.  She is a passionate storyteller and gifted illustrator who loves to use words and pictures to engage and inspire the imaginations of young readers. Her picture book, Bowerbird Blues, tells a story about longing, connection, and a bowerbird on the hunt for all things blue.
