What is Australian Indigenous Services?
The State Library of New South Wales is committed to improving library services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in New South Wales through the provision of appropriate services from the State Library and to work through the State's public library network to provide appropriate services throughout New South Wales
How to use Australian Indigenous Services
- Visit the Mitchell Library where staff will help you research your Indigenous information questions, assist you with Australian Indigenous family history research and assist you to access our Australian Indigenous resources.
- Contact us to organise group tours and seminars. We can arrange special programs for students, including mature age and school students as well as other groups, to introduce Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to the Library's services and resources.
- Make an appointment with the specialist Indigenous Services staff, Koori librarians, Ronald Briggs and Melissa Jackson, to assist you in using the wide range of Australian Indigenous resources available.
