Mitchell Library Reading Room

The Library specialises in Australian history, literature, theatre, arts, architecture, sport and natural history. We also have strong collections in Pacific and Antarctic exploration, Australian inland exploration and Aboriginal culture, history, language and art.

Our collections contain signficant original material including pictures, manuscripts and maps.
