Sign up for a Library card
With a Library card you can use all of our collections and services in the Library. For NSW residents, the card also lets you use most of our eResources from home.
Library cards
We have two types of cards, a Blue card and a Special Collections card.
Blue card
A Blue card lets you use:
- most of our collections
- eResources available in the Library
- many of our eResources from home (NSW residents only)
- books from other libraries.
Special Collections card
A Special Collections card lets you use:
- all the collections and services provided by the Blue card
- original materials such as manuscripts, maps and pictures
- rare books
You can also use your Library card for photocopying or printing from the Library's computers.
Would you like to borrow one of our books? You can borrow some of our books through your public library. You cannot borrow directly from us.
