The State Library is a a reference and research library and does not lend items directly to individuals.

The Library provides numerous services that are available to the general public without the need to register, such as:

Reader's Card

You will need to be registered and hold a Reader's Card to access many State Library services and collections. The Reader's Card can also be used as the State Library Copy Card.

Friends of the Library

SL U35 Club

The SL U35 (under 35s) club offers a number of great benefits. As a member you'll get advance notice of all SL U35 talks and events, slide shows, film nights and exhibition launches via the monthly e-newsletter and occasional e-updates and postcards.
