Reflection

Student activity
Year 9 and 10

This is the student activity 1 of 3 of the Perfecting poetry and prose learning activity.

Task No. 1

Twitter Exit Slip

A tweet is a short, sharp 140-character response. When constructing a tweet, writers must make conscious word choices and be concise. Write a 140-character reflection in response to the reflection question: What have you learnt from Oscar Wilde and Henry Lawson about the importance of taking time to edit your work before deciding it is finished?

Use the editing skills you have practiced to edit your tweet before ‘publishing’ by sharing it with the class on the school’s chosen digital platform.
