Ordering fine art prints
How to order high-quality prints of images from the Library's collections, including photographs, paintings and maps to hang on your walls.
What you can order
The Library's fine art prints are high-quality digital prints on acid-free archival paper. They're produced to the most exacting standards and are suitable for framing and display.
You can order prints of images from the Library's collections, including:
- paintings, drawings and illustrations
- photographs
- maps
- posters.
How to order
There are two ways to order fine art prints:
- online through the Library Print Shop
- by contacting or visiting the Library Shop.
To order online
You can order many fine art prints online.
To do this:
- Go to the online Library Print Shop.
- Choose the image, size and quantity you want.
- Follow the online process to order and pay for your prints.
If you can't order a print online, use the following process instead.
To order from the Library Shop
You can order many fine art prints from the Library Shop, including some that are not available through the online Library Print Shop.
To do this:
- View the image in the Library's Catalogue or Digital Collections.
- Copy a link to the image from either your browser or the Permalink on the image page.
- Email the link to the Library Shop. A staff member will contact you to help you make your order.
You can also call or visit the Library Shop in person to order your prints.

Prices include 10% GST. Orders from outside Australia are exempt from GST.

Delivery and pick-up
Prints are produced on demand and may take up to 21 days.
Once your print is made, there are 2 options:
- Library staff will post the print to you. Postage is free within Australia or costs a flat rate of $29 for international deliveries.
- You can pick up your print in person from the Library Shop in the Macquarie Street building.
Select your preferred option when you order.

- The Library can only supply prints of images that are out of copyright.
- Prints are supplied for personal use only. No reproduction rights are granted with the purchase.
