Openbook
Openbook is a lavish, award-winning magazine of new writing, fresh ideas and contemporary photography.
The spring issue features a profile on eminent Australian artist Elizabeth Cummings, Caroline Baum writes about Charmian Clift who was born 100 years ago, and poet Omar Sakr reflects on the library that made him. There's also a poem by Dimitra Harvey, Catherine Keenan reveals the inside story of public lending rights and Gudanji/Wakaja woman Debra Dank, who scooped the pool at the NSW Premier's Literary Awards, shares what's on her mind. And the birds of Sydney Park can be as seen through Lorne Johnson's binoculars.
There's also regular favourites — photo essay, collection spotlights, book reviews — plus Patrick White's recipe for a Greek honey cake.
