Students engage with the Library’s photography collection and create their own images.

This workshop introduces students to the Library’s amazing photography collections and develops skills of analysis and interpretation. Students will use these skills to take thoughtful, well constructed  photographs. This workshop offers a balance of theory and practice.

In this 90 minute program students will:

  • explore the exhibition Shot 400 photographs | 200 photographers | 3 centuries
  • analyse and study photographic techniques
  • create their own photographic images
