Locating China and countries of birth

Survey - Undertake a class survey of students’ countries of birth, record the information using tally marks.

Map - Locate and label China and Australia on a map of the world. From the class tally of birth countries, plot the countries of birth on the map. (It may also be appropriate to survey and plot the birth countries of the students’ parents.)
